This work was heavily foxed and discoloured, caused by acidity and staining from backing board as well as metal fragments with-in the paper. Silver fish damage and tear repair.
Work was removed from backing. Washed. Backed to Japanese tissue. Remaining discolouration was removed mechanically. Tears and surface damage were in-filled and in-painted.
